The problem with the visor is that there are only two adjustments available. Either you keep it open or keep it shut. The unavailability of a ratcheting mechanism does not keep it partially open if that’s your preferred adjustment. After some time, you can face a hard time keeping the visor up as the sides wear out soon.

The verdict is out—the Eliminator is an above-average helmet for a reasonable price. I for one don’t expect Bell to replace Shoei or Arai lids but the helmet is something to look out for. Though not ideal for long miles this helmet is perfect to travel around the town and go on trips with friends.
