If you remember the 2013 Bell Rouge and its bad-ass design, then you’re in it for a wilder ride with the Bell Broozer Motorcycle Helmet.
Overview
The Bell Broozer takes motorcycle helmets up a notch by fusing all the cool features of the Bell Rogue and improving on what it didn’t.
The results? A super sleek two-in-one modular helmet that protects and converts from a full-face helmet to an open-face helmet.
And, yes, this means you can catch the breeze and ride in style whenever you want.
Look great while riding full-face or catch the breeze in 3/4 mode…The helmet lets you take your pick.
How Is It Different From Other Helmets?
Unlike the Scorpion EXO Covert, its direct rival, the Bell Broozer Motorcycle Helmet is more than just an aggressive stylish piece.
Its tinted visor provides dual protection against road debris, smoke, fog, and sun exposure―say no to a flimsy non-protective face guard!
Thanks to its polycarbonate helmet shell and chin bar, you don’t have to be scared of motorcycle crashes. It is DOT and ECE certified for maximum protection and comfort.
But wait, it doesn’t get any more exciting than this! Besides being dual homologated and durable, the Broozer is also glasses-friendly.
For our four-eyed friends, there’s a special space in the interior that lets you wear your prescription eyeglasses or regular sunglasses comfortably while riding. Talk about versatility!

Bell Broozer Helmet Review Breakdown
Bell helmets are always at the top of our best motocross helmets list for their high-quality and innovative designs. Broozer is no exception.

- Style
- Functionality

- Protection
- Ventilation

Here are all the facts about the Bell Broozer Motorcycle Helmet. See for yourself why it’s a stand-out. Without further ado, let the ride begin!
1. Style
When it comes to style, the Bell Broozer is one heck of a looker. By far, it’s one of the most handsome helmets we’ve ever seen!
If this was the contest between the hottest Marvel superheroes, then the Broozer is, no doubt, Black Widow: sophisticated, sexy, and a certified manslayer―in this case, a road-killer.
The helmet features an all-black design with silver lightning bolts on the front and the sides.
A protective face shield made from anti-UV material and the anti-fog coating adds another layer of eye protection.
What’s even cooler?
The face shields are also easily removable. You can swap the ordinary clear visor to a polarized dark-smoke visor for daytime and nighttime riding.
Both visors come in the pack, so there’s no need to pay extra. You also have the option to select when it comes to the overall look. You can choose between 5 different colors of the Bell Broozer.
2. Functionality
Apart from its stunning visuals, the Bell Broozer Motorcycle Helmet also has an interesting concept. It is designed to be both an open-face and full-face helmet.
In other words, ride however you want!
By pulling the grey clips on the removable chin bar or chin guard at the bottom and sides of the helmet, you can switch from full-face to open-face. Compared to the Bell Rogue, the mechanism on the model is sturdier and has more breathing room to catch air.
The two-in-one open-face/ full-face configuration gives riders the best of both worlds, whether it’s full-face or open-face riding.
3. Comfort
The expensive price tag or high-tech features WON’T matter if your motorcycle helmet is uncomfortable.
If your helmet doesn’t fit properly, it will only collect dust on the shelf instead of the street. Luckily, Bell helmets are always produced with a major thought to the CONSTRUCTION and COMFORT.
And the snug fit of the Bell Broozer is proof of it.
The Bell Broozer Motorcycle helmet comes in a beautiful oval shape that encases your head perfectly.
Also, the dual homologated helmet with drop-down visor is available in 6 different sizes to choose from:
- XS: (54-55 cm)
- SM: (55-56 cm)
- MD: (57-58 cm)
- LG: (58-59 cm)
- XL: (60-61 cm)
- 2XL: (62-63 cm)
Although it’s no carbon fiber, the modular helmet is pretty lightweight and compact to bring with you wherever you go.
It’s made out of a polycarbonate/ ABS shell, and the whole thing weighs about 1,350 grams, so it’s easy on the head and the neck for long hours of cruising.
Now, let’s take a look at the interior of the Bell Broozer this time.
The helmet uses a removable and washable EPS liner, ear pads, and padding inside on the chin bar for extra comfort. To clean the EPS liner and ear pads in a snap, pop the chin bar off. It’s as easy as ABC!
The interior’s cheek pads gently press the rider’s cheeks, allowing extra safety against crashes and tumbles.
The Bell Broozer is designed for people who wear glasses because the interior is armed with eyewear arm pockets for extra storage.
Overall, the Bell Broozer is a comfortable helmet with a nice fit.
What’s the Lone Drawback?
The only thing that it gets a minus point for is the awkward strap placement on the chin.
The quick-release ratchet buckle makes securing and removing easy, but the straps rest too far inward and dig harshly on the neck instead of the chin.
BUT it’s not entirely terrible, and you can get used to it after some time.
4. Protection
Bell Broozer gives riders real protection. It flaunts a dual certification on safety, achieving high ratings of DOT and ECE across the USA and Europe.
The lightweight polycarbonate/ ABS shell is DOT approved, while the helmet and chin guard are ECE rated with a score of 22.05.
What do the ratings mean when you’re on the road? Well, if you were to crash headfirst on the ground, the Bell Broozer Helmet will absorb the impact without any trouble.
It totally takes the fear out of riding!
NOTE: Don’t try this at home, folks!
5. Ventilation
Moving on to ventilation, we face a ton of options for air flow. You can find practical vents on top of the helmet or on the removable chin bar itself.
Both the vents are accessible and can be adjusted even while you’re riding―with gloves or no gloves!
The Bell Broozer’s ventilation is pretty much standard. The only downside is the lack of exhaust in the helmet shell, which is usual in these types of motorcycle helmets.
As far as we’ve seen and tested, there are no exit vents for hot air to escape, which can be annoying after a full day of riding.
Imagine breathing stale air…Yikes!
Thankfully, its built-in design and open/full-face configuration serve as the perfect compromise by helping push the heat out.
In the full-face set-up of the Bell Broozer helmet, the EPS liner of the interior is furrowed to provide additional airflow.
Although be warned, it’ll get a little noisy. When the vents are pulled down and the chin bars are removed, the Bell Broozer is a whistler.
6. Additional Features
No app-powered audios, no flashy cameras, no AIs, and no speaker pockets.
The Bell Broozer is just your ordinary go-to helmet…with a few twists. It’s dual-homologated, comes packed with a visor, and is extra padded.
So, how is it any different from similar-looking helmets?
While Bell isn’t the only brand that produces a full-face and 3/4 set-up, the Broozer is one of the FEW helmet models in the market that has the following:
- High DOT and ECE certification
- Swappable tinted visor
- Removable chin bar
- Easy clean and replaceable EPS liner
- a NutraFog II system for anti-fog and anti-scratch
- pockets for prescription glasses or sunglasses
In addition, the helmet’s built-in drop-down visor DOESN’T lift the helmet whenever you pop it open. This is a huge improvement over the design of the Bell Rogue.
Although the helmet model doesn’t offer the most advanced technologies among modern helmets, the Broozer is certainly an upgrade to standard helmet designs.
7. Value
Now, you might be wondering, how much will the Bell Broozer motorcycle helmet cost?
Well, be ready to spend extra and prepare AT LEAST 230 bucks.
It’s easy to think it’s WAY overpriced for a not-so-high tech helmet, but we beg to differ.
When you consider the value for its cool specs, the Broozer is a bang for the bucks, especially since it costs 20 less than the Bell Rogue while offering more features.
Put it this way: the Broozer is an investment for your riding safety. Because you’ll never know when an accident will occur, the helmet is your best shield and insurance.
With its double safety feature and added protection from padding, the Broozer gives real protection. So, don’t be scared to slip your head in it!

Our verdict: The Bell Broozer Motorcycle Helmet is the brutal combination of style, comfort, and functionality.
The helmet transforms from a full-face to a 3/4 or open-face configuration in a snap.
- If it’s RAINING outside, you can rock the road with the full helmet up.

Because of its great versatility, the helmet has a broad appeal for riders. You can catch the breeze and cruise in style with the Bell Broozer Helmet.
